Vadim Hermann
In his painting, Vadim Hermann combines an unmistakable graphic language with narrative depth. Clear contours, mosaic-like surfaces, and strong color contrasts characterize his works, which appear accessible and playful at first glance, but behind which hide precise observations on social, ecological, and psychological themes. Hermann sees humor as an intensifier of seriousness, opening up perspectives and reducing the distance to the viewer.
His works play with collective myths, symbols of power, and human repression. He works in thematic series as well as on free, abstract concepts, translating his visual language into classic canvas formats, large-scale public works, and applied design.
